About Sam

Originally from the UK, Sam completed her qualifications in Physiotherapy in 2009 and worked in the UK’s National Health Service for many years post qualifying. She gained experience working with torticollis, plagiocephaly, autism, muscular dystrophies, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, traumatic brain injuries, muscle imbalances, acquired brain injuries, and sports injuries including concussion.

Sam’s passion for sports and the outdoors motivated her to work with the Welsh Institute of sport, before taking on the role of Academy Physiotherapist for Queens Park Rangers Football Club in London, UK.

Sam made the move to Canada in 2016 and since arriving has worked in private practice as the clinic manager and a practicing physio with all ages. Sam is transferring from her clinic manager role in the North Island to co-own and work at the first Kids Physio Group on Vancouver Island.

Sam is also a qualified Pilates Instructor for Matwork and the Reformer and brings these into her treatment sessions regularly. Sam’s passion for working with children and young people overflows in her dynamic and friendly approach.

In her free time Sam loves to hike, climb, ski, kayak, and try new activities the Island has to offer. She thrives on the adventure and diversity of Vancouver Island region and is super excited to be bringing pediatric focused services to families in Greater Victoria.
