About Morgan

Morgan grew up in the prairies in a town near Calgary, Alberta. She is thrilled that she got the opportunity to move to Victoria for the much better climate and more importantly, so she could become part of the Kids Physio Victoria team!

Morgan graduated from the University of British Columbia – Okanagan Campus with a Bachelor of Human Kinetics. She then moved back home to Calgary where she completed her Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta.

Morgan has always had a passion for working with children. In fact, every job Morgan has had has involved working with kids! She has worked and done practicums in various settings with children such as day camps and preschools for children with diverse needs, as well as the Alberta Children’s Hospital. Morgan loves celebrating every achievement, big or small, with families. Whether it’s a first step or adding an extra second to their single-leg balance, Morgan is there cheering you on.

Morgan finds working with kids from babies to teens very rewarding. She enjoys working with kids with different conditions such as developmental delays, cerebral palsy, plagiocephaly/torticollis, and general muscle and joint pain. Morgan takes a play-based, functional approach to therapy to help kids achieve their movement goals and get stronger. She strives to make physio fun for every kid she sees.

Outside of work, you can find Morgan going on hiking adventures with her dog, Clancy, trying out new coffee shops, doing yoga, paddle boarding, and thrift shopping!
