About Kelly
Kelly grew up in Tsawwassen, BC with a lot of energy that she channelled into trying every sport and activity she could. Participating in everything from field hockey to squash, gymnastics, and dance, she had her fair share of injuries, introducing her to the physiotherapy world.
While she loved trying everything, Kelly spent most of her youth in the dance studio where she developed a passion for movement and exercise. This passion led her to study Kinesiology at Queen’s University. Here, she completed a specialization in Exercise and Disability allowing her to develop an interest in working with people with mobility and intellectual impairments. She also helped coordinate events, tutor, and provide gym programming for kids and adults with disabilities in the community. While at the University of Toronto, she expanded her paediatric knowledge and skills while working with the Traumatic Brain Injury Team at Holland Bloorview Children’s Rehabilitation Hospital.
Kelly hopes to bring lots of energy, creativity and fun into every session, ensuring kids leave with a smile! Outside of the clinic, Kelly can be found running, skiing, and taking every opportunity to hike and explore the local mountains!
