Annalise grew up on Bowen Island, with much of her youth spent outdoors hiking, biking and swimming. Her passion for the outdoors and nature lead her to an undergraduate degree in Natural resources conservation at UBC. Her love of nature remained strong but after spending time in Mexico teaching English she became interested in working with children. After much research and volunteering, she decided physiotherapy was the path that best suited her aspirations.
Annalise completed her MSc of Physiotherapy in England at Leeds Beckett University. While completing her degree in England she worked as a paediatric physiotherapy assistant providing rebound therapy and hydrotherapy for children with special needs, alongside qualified physiotherapists. This experience, along with her final placement in community paediatrics, solidified her passion for providing facilitation and opportunities for children to achieve their goals in the most fun and encouraging way.
In her spare time Annalise can most often be found hiking with her dog, but she also enjoys swimming on Bowen Island, snowboarding the local mountains, practicing Yoga and enjoying a sunny patio.
