Proprioceptive Deep Tendon Reflex
Proprioceptive Deep Tendon Reflex (P-DTR) is a functional neurology technique used for assessing and treating chronic and acute injuries.
P-DTR makes immediate changes in the signalling pathways to the brain from the rest of the body.
Similar to resolving communication issues with the software of a computer, this technique helps the body work more efficiently. The result can be: more immediate pain relief, improved muscle activation during strength testing, and increased movement of affected joints.

As of spring 2018, Julie Paul became the first physiotherapist in Western Canada to have Advanced-Level Certification in P-DTR.
