About Sabrina
Sabrina was born and raised in Ancaster, Ontario and grew up as an active member of the community, participating in many sports including competitive dance, soccer, and volleyball. Her experience in sports also sparked her interest in working with children through coaching and counselling in summer sports camps.
From a young age, Sabrina has had a desire to work in healthcare, her passion for movement and human kinetics led her to pursue an undergraduate degree in Honours Science-Kinesiology at McMaster University. During that time, she became involved in the field of sports medicine, working as a student sports therapist for the McMaster Women’s varsity soccer team and completing her undergraduate thesis on the topic of concussion in varsity athletes.
Sabrina went on to pursue her Master of Science in Physical Therapy at Queen’s University which further inspired her interest in health promotion and rehabilitation. She has been working in the field of orthopaedics since 2014 and has experience with a broad spectrum of patients including young professional and competitive athletes, children with orthopaedic injuries and post-surgical patients. Since the birth of her daughter, Sabrina’s interest and passion for paediatrics have grown and she looks forward to providing engaging treatment plans for children and coordinating with their families to empower them to meet their rehabilitation goals.
