About Ming
Ming grew up in Calgary, AB, participating in several community sports teams before finding his love for badminton, where he eventually competed at the provincial and national level. His love for sports led him to pursue an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at the University of British Columbia. While living in Vancouver, he took on a position working with kids of various age groups as a sport leader for the summer camps at Richmond Olympic Oval. It was the two summers he spent teaching children the fundamentals of sport and movement skills that initially sparked his interest in working with kids.
He later went on to become a volunteer at Kids Physio Fraser, where he saw first-hand how physiotherapy could not only help children towards their goals but also be adapted to be fun and creative for the kids to enjoy. After completing his physiotherapy degree at the University of Alberta, he decided to embark on a new adventure by moving to Toronto. After reconnecting with Kids Physio Group, except this time on the east coast, he is very excited to be starting at the clinic that opened his eyes to the world of pediatric physiotherapy.
Ming is passionate about not only helping children return to play or sport but also facilitating long-term motor development in children of all age groups to help them achieve their goals. He strives to understand both the needs of the children and their families and always aims to create a fun and engaging environment for the kids to play and progress.
