Born and raised in Victoria, Megan received her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from UVic before moving to Vancouver to pursue her Master of Physical Therapy at UBC. She always knew she wanted to work in paediatrics, and her clinical placement at BC Children’s Hospital confirmed that desire. Since graduating, Megan has worked in paediatric physiotherapy in both public and private settings, from acute care and neonatal follow-up at Victoria General Hospital to orthopaedic and neurodevelopmental conditions in private practice.
She has experience working with children with cerebral palsy, autism, Down syndrome and other genetic syndromes, and infants with torticollis, plagiocephaly, and developmental delay. In addition, Megan enjoys working with young athletes to recover from injury or build strength and function to maximize their abilities. As a former college volleyball player, she understands the demands of high-level sports and loves to help children and teens meet those demands with healthy bodies!
Megan sees a great need for paediatric-focused private physiotherapy in Victoria, and looks forward to helping children access care that meets their unique needs and conditions.
When not in the clinic, Megan can be found spending time with her husband, Brett, and two children, Madisen and Lincoln. She loves CrossFit, books, and spending time outdoors, doing everything from hiking to snowboarding to playing at the beach.
