Originally from Kamloops, BC, Kelsey joined the Surrey Kids Physio Group clinic in September of 2014. Kelsey loves working with children and is passionate about helping all of her kiddos reach their highest potential and empowering them to achieve their goals.
In her spare time, Kelsey loves hiking the mountains of the Lower Mainland, tap dancing, and travelling!
Kelsey completed a Bachelor of Science degree from Thompson Rivers University and her Masters in Physical Therapy in 2013 at UBC. Kelsey has a passion for learning and continues to seek new education opportunities to improve her skills and provide the best treatment possible to her clients. Her experience includes working with children and infants with neurological disorders including: cerebral palsy, developmental delay, genetic disorders and complex multisystem diagnoses. Kelsey also enjoys treating infants with torticollis and plagiocephaly, as well as infants with gross motor delay.
Kelsey has experience working with children with autism and is a Registered Autism Service Provider (RASP).
Kelsey has additional training in Contemporary NDT Treatment for the baby and young child. She is also Level 1 NKT certified and has taken the NKT Level 2 course, which is an added skill to help treat pain and dysfunctional movement patterns. She is certified as a Complete Concussion Management practitioner, and enjoys treating kids with concussions or other muskuloskeletal conditions.
