Julie grew up in northern BC in Prince George. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Athletic and Exercise Therapy from Camosun College and is now practicing as a certified athletic therapist. She found her passion for sport and exercise rehabilitation through her swimming career when she went through a serious shoulder injury as a teen.
Julie is passionate about helping kids learn about how their body moves and feels, while watching them strive and meet their full potential. Whether that’s helping them return to a specific sport or an activity of daily living, she finds joy in being a helping hand for her clients to get there!
Julie has recently taken additional training to provide exercise therapy in an aquatic setting. Growing up at the pool as a competitive swimmer, Julie is a superhero in the pool. The water is her favourite setting to provide therapy as it allows her clients to experience a freeing environment.
In her spare time, you can find Julie exploring beaches and hikes on our beautiful west coast, climbing or bouldering, or spending quality time with her friends.
