About Jillian
Jillian was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. Growing up as a competitive swimmer, Jillian was first exposed to physiotherapy through her own experience with a sports injury at 12 years old. Her positive experience inspired her to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at Western University, then her Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto.
Jillian has always had a passion for working with children and has dedicated her career to paediatric physiotherapy since graduation. Whether it is helping babies take their first steps or guiding young athletes return to sport post-injury, Jillian is passionate about making physiotherapy fun for children of all ages and abilities. In addition to her role at Toronto Kids Physio, Jillian works at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital in the Neuromotor and Neuromuscular programs, treating children with developmental disabilities including cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, and spinal muscular atrophy. Jillian has a special interest in helping children with disabilities achieve their full physical potential.
