About Hayley
Hayley grew up in Waterdown, Ontario, and participated in many sports including competitive dance, soccer, and skiing. Her involvement in sport sparked a keen interest in the body and human movement leading her to complete a Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of Toronto. While completing her undergraduate degree, she volunteered at SickKids and Toronto Rehab Institute which allowed her to see the positive impact physiotherapy could have on an individual’s life. From there, Hayley went on to complete her Masters of Science in Physiotherapy at Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, Scotland.
Hayley has always had a passion for working with kids having spent many summers as a camp counsellor and working for local child and youth programs. Hayley has experience working with kids of all ages and abilities; she has worked with children with cerebral palsy, autism spectrum disorder, delayed gross motor skills, and a variety of musculoskeletal conditions. Volunteering at Hamilton Kids Physio solidified her passion for working with children and youths. She is excited to join the Kids Physio team and to help children reach their maximum potential by creating fun and engaging physiotherapy sessions!
When not in the clinic, she can be found exploring the trails in and around Hamilton, reading a good book, or skiing in the winter.
