About Deeksha
Deeksha grew up in Ottawa, Ontario. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics at the University of Ottawa, studying in both French and English. Throughout her university studies, Deeksha worked as a camp counsellor and found her passion for pediatrics! She completed her Master of Physical Therapy at UBC, and now resides in beautiful Victoria.
As a pediatric physiotherapist, Deeksha loves working with kids of all ages and abilities. She treats infants for torticollis and delayed milestones. She also treats kids with neurological conditions, developmental coordination disorder, autism, pain disorders, toe walkers, and more!
As a previous competitive soccer player, Deeksha loves helping athletes return to sport while having fun at physio! Deeksha serves as a member of the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee for UBC Department of Physical Therapy. She is passionate about improving care for marginalized populations and creating inclusive spaces for all.
