Courtney grew up in Port Coquitlam playing any and all sports. After narrowing down her interests to fully commit to basketball, she attended Simon Fraser University and completed a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Psychology while playing basketball for five years. Three of the five years ended in a National Championship.
During these years, Courtney was heavily involved in all types of kids’ summer camps and development teams for all different sports, which is where she cultivated her love of coaching and working with youth. For almost a decade after her playing career was over, Courtney coached university & college basketball before returning to school to complete a Master of Physiotherapy degree. To do so, she headed to Perth, Australia but is excited to be home and working with kids as part of the Kids Physio team!
A lifelong teammate, Courtney is dedicated to providing the best possible team-based approach for her clients whilst ensuring a safe and fun environment. She uses her coaching background and her knowledge of movement training to help kids reach their full potential!
