Chelsea grew up in Vancouver where she was involved in competitive dance from a young age. It was through dance that she developed a love for movement, anatomy, and healthy living, and was first introduced to physiotherapy. This led her to complete her Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology and a Master of Science in Physical Therapy at McGill University.
While Chelsea always enjoyed working with kids and babies through summer camps, tutoring, or babysitting, it was during her placement at a paediatric rehabilitation centre working with kids of all ages with various musculoskeletal, neurological or genetic conditions that she discovered her passion for paediatric physiotherapy. Her favourite part about working with kids is that physiotherapy can be made fun, silly, and creative while helping kids reach their maximum physical potential.
When not at work, you can find Chelsea enjoying the outdoors running, biking, skiing, or paddle boarding.
