At our Surrey clinic, there is onsite parking both outside and covered underground parking with elevator access.

My child has had a concussion – is physio beneficial?
Yes, our physiotherapists are all CCM Certified, and will design an appropriate stepwise return to activity plan that is specific to your child’s need ensuring that there is a safe and successful return to sport. We can also identify other red flags and make appropriate referrals if necessary.
My child walks on their toes/intoes/has poor posture. Can physio help?
Yes and our treatment sessions all happen in the context of play!
Is my child appropriate for in-clinic physiotherapy?
Our clinics are open concept and accommodate more than one child at a time. Therefore, we require that all children who attend regular physiotherapy meet our behaviour criterion. This includes the following:
  • Your child must follow the majority of the instructions given by the physiotherapist
  • Your child must be able to share spaces with other children without interrupting their session
  • Your child must be able to self-regulate emotions without the use of physical means by the physiotherapist
Do you accept At Home Program funding, Autism funding or other 3rd party funding?
Yes. Please contact us for more details and our Office Manager will be happy to assist you with the application process.
Is physio covered under my extended benefits?
If you have private extended health benefits, often your dependent child is covered under your plan the same way physiotherapy is covered for you. However, we recommend that you check with your insurance provider prior to attending physio as plan vary. Following each visit, you will receive a receipt that you can submit to your insurance company.
What should my child wear?
Assessment and treatments are very active! Please ensure that your child is wearing comfortable clothing. If a specific body part is of concern, please ensure that it can be exposed (e.g., not skinny jeans if we need to assess knees; wear shorts instead)
What happens in a typical session?
Initial Assessment: During the initial assessment, the physiotherapist will have a discussion with you and your child regarding your concerns. This will be followed by an active physical assessment. After this, the physiotherapist will determine the plan moving forward which may include follow visits, home exercises and/or referral to other services.
Follow Up Treatments: All treatments at Kids Physio Group are 1-1 with a registered physiotherapist. Your child is our top priority during this time.
Does my child need a doctor’s referral?
We do not require a doctor’s referral unless your child has suffered a concussion in which case they must have medical clearance to return to physical activity.
Physicians – please use this referral form when recommending Kids Physio Group.
Parents: Please be advised, some extended health benefits plans do require a referral prior to attending physio so please check with your provider.
