Applied Biomechanics is a full service orthotic and bracing provider. We have a complete in-house lab for orthotic and brace fabrication, modification and adjustment. Our children’s bracing includes Foot Orthotics, Heel Foot Orthotics, Supra Malleolar Orthoses (SMO’s), Ankle Foot Orthoses (AFO’s) and Knee Orthoses (KO’s) and Knee Ankle Foot Orthoses (KAFO’s) as well as Cranial Remodelling Orthoses for Plagiocephaly and Brachycephaly. Our clinicians have a combined 55 years of experience working with kids bracing. All of our brace designs start with a comprehensive physical and biomechanical assessment in consultation with the child’s doctors, therapists, the family and the child. We treat a wide range of children’s conditions related to Cerebral Palsy (CP), Developmental Delay, Neuromuscular and Musculoskeletal Pathologies.
